Probate Office Applications
Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration are not issuing at present, however the Probate Office will resume the process of issuing Grants and Letters of Administration from Thursday the 16th April. All caveats which might effect the issue of a Grant or Letters of Administration should be filed before close of business this Tuesday the 14th April if they are to be effect the issue of any Grants which will issue from next Thursday the 16th April.
Following on the statement from the Probate Office on the 8th April, we will be able to submit Seat Office Probate Applications for Grants or Letters of Administration from this Thursday, 16th April 2020.
We are carrying out Probate Searches, bespeak Will`s and Grants/Letters of Administrations in the General Probate Office. Although, these requests are taking longer than usual to process given the limited capacity of the Probate office at the moment. This can also be dependent on the urgency of the particular request.
Probate Rules Office
We are filing Caveats and other submissions into the Probate Rules Office. These submissions are taking longer than usual to be processed and issued by the Probate Office’s capacity. All caveats which might affect the issue of a Grant or Letters of Administration should be filed before close of business next Tuesday the 14th April if they are to effect the issue of any Grants which will issue from next Thursday the 16th April.
